As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a software detective, providing a dynamic service by identifying and solving complex issues across multiple components of critical business systems. You will be expected to perform independently as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), troubleshooting high-stakes environments and contributing to the evolution of the software stack.
Strategic Troubleshooting: Independently analyze and troubleshoot software issues to ensure the optimal performance of mission-critical business systems.
Full-Stack Support: Maintain and enhance applications built on both Java and .NET Core frameworks, ensuring seamless cross-functional functionality.
Cloud & Containerization: Manage and optimize application deployments using Docker and AWS environments.
Database Management: Oversee database health and data integrity using Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework (Code-First approach).
Knowledge Management: Document findings and technical solutions to build a robust knowledge base for future reference and team training.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure the system remains scalable and secure.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical training or support to stakeholders and team members as needed.
Java Expertise: Intermediate to strong proficiency in Java and experience with the Spring Boot framework.
.NET Proficiency: Hands-on experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Entity Framework (specifically Code-First approach).
Web Technologies: Intermediate proficiency in JavaScript for frontend-related troubleshooting and enhancements.
Database Mastery: Proven experience in database management using Microsoft SQL Server.
Cloud & DevOps: Practical ability to manage deployments using Docker and AWS services.
Methodology: Solid understanding of the SDLC, Agile practices, and structured testing methodologies.
Problem Solving: Strong software detective mindset-able to perform application remediation and root cause analysis in complex environments.
Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to participate in technical discussions and mentor junior members.
