Application Support Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in application support, with a focus on resolving technical issues and ensuring optimal performance of our software applications.

Application Support Engineer with hands-on experience supporting systems across websites, kiosks, and mobile apps, leveraging Azure cloud services and Adobe Experience Manager, with strong production support, security, and incident management expertise.

Primary focus: Deep troubleshooting and service restoration

• Perform detailed incident diagnosis and resolution for production issues.
• Analyze application, AEM, and Azure logs to identify root causes.
• Troubleshoot Azure services (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, networking).
• Support AEM production issues, including publish, dispatcher cache, and content errors.
• Investigate API, database connectivity, and performance issues.
• Execute SQL queries or stored procedures for validation and troubleshooting.
• Recommend preventive actions.
• Work closely with vendors, development, infrastructure, and security teams.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Hands-on Azure troubleshooting (networking, connectivity, performance, deployment)
• AEM operational troubleshooting experience 
• Root cause analysis and incident ownership
• Understanding of security concepts (certificates, secrets, access control)
• Familiarity with web applications, APIs, and monitoring tools
• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
