As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications and supporting business continuity. The position demands continuous monitoring, analysis, and collaboration to maintain system integrity and performance, often working across different teams to address complex challenges and deliver timely solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and support processes.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
• Experience in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
• Strong knowledge of database management and operating system fundamentals related to SAP systems.
• Ability to manage system upgrades, patches, and transport management effectively.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
