Application Support (Bank)

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 (L2) application and technical support for banking systems, including incident investigation, troubleshooting and resolution.

• Monitor application health, maintain user request and incident logs, and prepare accurate incident reports covering business impact, root cause and workaround measures.

• Coordinate with L3 Support teams and external vendors to manage escalations, define service-level agreements (SLAs) and monitor SLA compliance.

• Support application operations and service delivery, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and adherence to ITservice management procedures.

• Prepare operational reports and documentation for stakeholders, ensuring accurate tracking of user requests, incidents and support activities.

Requirements

• Experience in L2 application support within the corporate banking or financial services industry.

• Knowledge of corporate banking applications, including CASA, Loans and Lending, Treasury, Accounting andGeneral Ledger, Payments, Cash Management and Regulatory Reporting (MAS/JFSA).

• Technical experience in Windows Server, Linux Server, application health checks and application troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, preferably ITIL, and incident management toolssuch as ServiceNow and Jira.

• Good understanding of Azure DevOps, application support and financial institution IT infrastructure. Exposure to MAS Technology Risk Management Framework and application software development is an advantage.
