We are seeking an experienced Application Project Manager to manage the planning, execution, and delivery of application-based projects. Using the current adoption of process framework and practices, this role will define project resources, manage project progress, and facilitate interaction and tasks of various parties to ensure that project deliverables are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed evaluations of potential applications to ensure they meet the organization&aposs needs.
- Define evaluation criteria based on functionality, compliance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shortlist applications that comply with regulations and align with business goals.
- Plan and manage the implementation of chosen applications, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
- Coordinate with development and IT teams to oversee the deployment process.
- Ensure applications are configured according to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Assess current infrastructure to verify its ability to support new applications.
- Identify and implement necessary infrastructure upgrades to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Lead infrastructure projects, including hardware and software upgrades, to support new applications.
- Create and execute detailed project plans, tracking progress against timelines and budgets.
- Perform thorough vulnerability assessments to detect security risks and apply strong measures to protect applications and data.
Requirement:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5 years of IT work experience with at least 5 years of Project management experience
- Experienced in managing application projects
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP) would be an added advantage
- Experience in Agile Scrum Development and Implementation as a certified practitioner would be an added advantage.
- Able to balance between project requirements and people management to achieve project targets within deadlines and budget
- Able to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Customer-oriented person with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, able to work independently and collaboratively.

- Ability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders
