Application Production Support Engineer (L2 Support)
Job Description
We are looking for an Application Production Support Engineer to provide Level 2 (L2) support for banking applications and systems. The role involves monitoring production systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring system stability and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 production support for banking applications and systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Monitor system performance and application health, detect anomalies, and ensure high system availability.
- Manage incident tickets and escalations, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Work closely with L1 support teams to manage escalation of complex incidents and ensure smooth issue resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term fixes.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures for future reference.
Requirements
- 25 years of experience in Production/Application Support, preferably within banking or financial services environments.
- Experience supporting production systems and incident management processes.
- Basic Java development knowledge will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Additional Information
- This role requires 24/7 rotational shift work.
