Job Description

We are looking for an Application Engineer to provide technical support to customers on the application and integration of the company's products.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and training to customers and regional subsidiaries.
Assist customers with the application and integration of products into their machines and systems.
Troubleshoot technical and application issues and recommend suitable solutions.
Perform product commissioning, testing and demonstrations.
Develop and update technical notes, training materials and documentation.
Provide product demonstrations and technical information when required.
Develop best practices for the use and application of products.
Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements.
Travel within Asia for customer support and training when required.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics or equivalent.
Good programming skills in C/C++ and C#.
Knowledge of control/regulation theory.
Additional programming knowledge such as MATLAB or Python would be an advantage.
Experience in mechatronics or industrial machine design would be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and technical documentation skills.
Customer-oriented and able to work independently.
Willing to travel within Asia and attend training in Switzerland when required.
