Application Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and solution-driven Application Engineer to develop, implement, and support automated digital solutions for our Singapore office and regional entities. This role requires close collaboration with end-users to understand business needs and deliver efficient, secure, and user-friendly workflow applications that streamline processes and improve productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and problem statements to deliver practical, value-driven solutions for various Business Units.

• Engage directly with end-users (including face-to-face discussions) to gather, clarify, and validate requirements.

• Design, develop, maintain, and support workflow-based applications (e.g., Nintex, SharePoint Online).

• Transform manual processes into automated digital workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including system design specifications, data flows, and access/permission models.

• Ensure secure application architecture, including proper management of privileged access and role-based permissions.

• Develop structured tools and systems to improve cross-divisional management and reporting.

• Review, enhance, and optimize existing applications recommend upgrades or decommissioning where necessary.

• Work closely with ICT team members, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and stable system operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in application development, workflow automation, or similar roles.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with workflow automation tools such as Nintex and SharePoint Online will be advantageous.
