The Application Engineer develops and supports automated solutions to streamline business processes for the Singapore office and regional companies. The role involves frequent direct communication with end users to understand requirements and ensure smooth delivery of applications.
The Application Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
- Understand and analyze business requirements or problem statements to deliver value for Business Units.
- Communicate and clarify requirements directly with end-users, including inperson conversations.
- Develop, maintain, and support workflowbased applications (e.g., Nintex, SharePoint Online).
- Convert manual processes into automated digital solutions.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, data flows, and permission models.
- Ensure secure application design, including proper handling of privileged access and role-based permissions.
- Develop systematic tools across divisions for easier management.
- Review and update existing applications periodically recommend upgrades or decommissioning when appropriate.
- Collaborate with ICT colleagues, vendors, and business users to ensure timely delivery and stable operations.
Minimum Qualifications/Job Experience/Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflow is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Business Process Automation, Procurement and Accounting System will be an advantage.
- Understanding of privileged access concepts and secure application operation.
- Proficiency in SharePoint Online development and customization.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
