Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities include but not limited to following:
- Provide day-to-day support for business applications and databases, resolving application bugs, database errors, and integrate new features in a timely manner
- Translate business rules and process needs into structured data requirements and system specifications
- Build and refine database frameworks to deliver accurate reporting and effective data extraction
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Assist with the implementation of application patches, upgrades, and database migrations
- Support and manage user access to applications and databases
- Conduct system and application tests to ensure functionality and performance before new releases or updates
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply tuning measures to optimize performance
- In-charge of IT audits and BCP
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices
- Backup of IT system support tasks
- Other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- At least 5 years experience in application and database system role
- Familiar with SICS and SAP Business Intelligent, highly preferred good knowledge of MS SQL database and scripting languages
- Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and query optimization
- Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
