- Deliver daily support for business applications and databases, addressing system bugs, database issues, and implementing enhancements promptly
- Convert business processes and rules into well-defined data requirements and system specifications
- Design and enhance database structures to support accurate reporting and efficient data retrieval
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Support the deployment of application updates, patches, and database migrations
- Manage and administer user access for applications and databases
- Perform system and application testing to validate performance and functionality prior to releases
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement optimization strategies
- Take ownership of IT audits and business continuity planning (BCP)
- Ensure adherence to IT governance, security policies, and best practices
- Provide backup support for IT operations when required
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years experience in application and database management roles
- Familiarity with SICS and SAP Business Intelligence is highly advantageous
- Proficient in MS SQL databases and scripting
- Strong expertise in database design, data modeling, and query performance tuning
- Solid technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
