Working schedule: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
This role provides specialized technical and operational support for laboratory information systems, with a strong focus on pathology informatics and data-driven optimisation. You will lead informatics initiatives, support system operations, and apply advanced analytics to improve laboratory efficiency and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pathology informatics initiatives, including data analytics, predictive modelling, and optimization of data structures to enhance laboratory operations.
• Review existing laboratory information system (LIS) functionalities and propose improvements to support operational and clinical needs.
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot LIS applications to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Manage system change and service requests, including requirements review, impact analysis, coordination, testing, and implementation.
• Support laboratory accreditation and regulatory compliance requirements related to information systems.
• Assist with system administration, access control, and compliance activities.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma or Degree in biomedical science, information technology or related fields

• Min. 2-5 years supporting or administering Laboratory Information Systems (LIS),including troubleshooting and user support.
• Good understanding of laboratory operations, workflows, and processes.
• Prior clinical laboratory or pathology-related experience is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of data analysis concepts and local area network (LAN) environments.
• Proficiency in basic PC setup/troubleshooting.
• Programming or scripting experience (e.g. Python, Visual Basic, database tools such as Access) is an advantage.
