We are partnering with a leading global distributor of specialty ingredients to appoint a senior commercial leader for their Nutrition & Health business in Asia Pacific. This Singapore-based role will play a pivotal part in driving the company's growth across the region by shaping and executing the sales strategy, developing strong supplier partnerships, and leading a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the commercial direction of the business, identifying portfolio gaps, and building long-term relationships with both existing and new suppliers. A key focus will be on business development, particularly in securing new principals and bringing innovative ingredient solutions to customers across diverse food, beverage, and nutrition segments. As a visible ambassador for the company, the role will require the ability to pitch at senior levels and position the business as the partner of choice in the industry.
We are seeking an individual with a technical background who combines scientific understanding with strong commercial acumen. Candidates should bring proven experience in the food ingredients sector, ideally from a supplier or manufacturer, and must have successfully managed distributor relationships in previous roles. This combination of technical expertise and business development capability will be critical to winning new suppliers and expanding market presence.
Requirements
The role requires at least 10 years of relevant leadership experience, with the ability to build and motivate teams, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and deliver against ambitious growth targets. Strong communication, influencing and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to navigate both strategic and operational priorities across a fast-paced, international environment.
