Regional Finance Business Partner, F&B APAC

The Regional Finance Business Partner drives business strategic goals through financial stewardship at the division level. This role partners with business leadership to maximize profitability (Net Profit) and optimize capital deployment (working capital, investments), while serving as a member of the Regional Business Leadership Team.

The Position:

Business Strategy Partnership:

• Partner with business leaders to define and develop business strategy aligned with regional and corporate objectives.

Strategic Financial Planning & Performance Management:

• Drive target setting and strategic planning processes including Mid-Term Plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting across corporate, regional finance, and business functions
• Establish and monitor performance KPIs that link financial and non-financial metrics to drive business outcomes.

Business Performance Analysis & Reporting:

• Deliver business performance analysis and recommendations for financial and operational improvement. Work directly with business leadership to provide strategic steering
• Provide income statement variance analysis identifying impacts from new business, pricing, volume mix, and other drivers. Analyze profitability by business units, categories, and customers
• Establish controls over costs and expenses. Lead headcount and labor cost planning in partnership with HR.

Decision Support & Business Cases:

• Develop data-driven decision frameworks for capital investment and strategic initiatives. Prepare capital investment business cases and conduct post-investment reviews
• Advise business on financial impacts of commercial negotiations and contracts. Own financial contract terms (rebates, commissions, pricing) and ensure proper documentation with Finance operations.

M&A & Investment Support:

• Support M&A and investment activities through analysis and business case development. Participate in approvals processes.

Data & Process Management:

• Actively manage business data and process flows including sales data, pricing, and cost flows to ensure data integrity and alignment across systems.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Min 12-15 years in finance with the current/prior working experience playing the role of a Finance Business Partner with business strategic financial thinking, ability to link financial performance to business strategies
• Possess a keen business acumen, commerical mindset with the advanced analytical & problem solving skills
• Does have strong stakeholder engagement & influencing across business functions with excellent communication & presentaton skillsets
• Has advanced proficiency in financial analysis & modelling, with expert level advanced proficiency in financial analysis & modelling as well as P&L management along with financial reporting exposure
• Proficiency in the following systems/areas - ERP systems, financial planning tools, MS Excel as well as Data Analytics will be highly preferred
• Current/prior working experience handling Supply Chain Finance will be highly desired and preferred.
