This role will be under Retail Pro is a leading global retail management software platform, empowering retailers worldwide with comprehensive point-of-sale and retail operations solutions. Our APAC operations manage complex, enterprise-scale deployments for premier international brands, requiring exceptional project coordination and execution excellence

We are seeking an organized and proactive Project Manager/Coordinator to oversee critical retail technology implementations across the APAC region. The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with excellent stakeholder communication, technical aptitude, and the ability to drive complex projects to successful completion.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

POS Deployment Project Management

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and milestones
  • Coordinate all aspects of deployment including technical, operational, and training components
  • Manage project schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Lead project status meetings with stakeholders and internal teams
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
  • Manage change requests and scope modifications
  • Coordinate go-live activities and post-deployment support
  • Track project metrics and provide regular status reporting to leadership

Regional Project Coverage and Coordination

  • Oversee and coordinate multiple regional projects
  • Coordinate implementation timelines and deliverables
  • Manage stakeholder communications and expectations
  • Track project milestones and resource requirements
  • Facilitate project planning and execution
  • Coordinate cross-functional team activities
  • Monitor progress and address project issues
  • Manage deployment coordination and scheduling
  • Ensure alignment with operational requirements
  • Coordinate technical and training resources
  • Support project initiation and planning activities
  • Coordinate resource allocation and timeline development

Cross-Project Coordination

  • Balance priorities and resources across multiple concurrent projects
  • Standardize project management processes and best practices across the region
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, technical staff, and business partners
  • Coordinate dependencies and handoffs between projects
  • Maintain central project documentation and knowledge repository

Global Project Assistance and Coordination

  • Provide project management support for global initiatives as needed
  • Participate in global project management forums and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to global project management standards and methodologies
  • Assist with resource coordination across regions
  • Support cross-regional projects requiring regional involvement

Administrative and Operational Support

  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
  • Track project finances, invoicing, and budget adherence
  • Coordinate project-related procurement and vendor management
  • Manage project communication channels and documentation repositories
  • Support contract administration and client relationship management

Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 4+ years of project management and coordination experience, delivering enterprise technology and POS/retail deployments on time and within budget
  • Skilled in managing multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities, and coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong expertise in planning, risk management, resource allocation, and problem-solving
  • Technical understanding of retail operations, deployment processes, and software development lifecycle
  • Effective communicator with executive presentation skills and cross-cultural competence across APAC markets
  • Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Monday.com), collaboration platforms (Teams, Slack, Confluence), and Microsoft Office
  • Professional English proficiency; additional APAC languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) beneficial.
