This is a marketing and business development role for entire range of Telemecanique Sensors products in Asia Pacific Zone ( except India and China) which broadly entails following responsibilities :
- Adaptation and execution of global and local strategies
- Marketing communication and branding initiatives
- New Offer Launch and product management
- Pricing and Market Analysis (competition, segment, channel)
- Marketing Campaigns and Trainings
- Business Development for Market Share expansion
Strategizing Channel and Commercial Policy
Responsibilities
- Animates / leads the marketing function for Sensors in the zone
- Assess market demands and user needs by not only interacting with sales organization (direct & indirect) but also through shows, customer visits, competition analysis
- Build sales tools, value proposition, sales presentations, battle cards and ensure sales readiness including enabling distribution partners
- Collaborate closely with global marketing within all launches and launch new products in alignment with sales and provide all relevant content
- Communicates, deploys and adapts the global and local strategy in the country
- Contributes, in close collaboration with the Cluster Leader / Sales Manager, to the definition of the zone business commercial policy
- Define Product, Positioning, Buying Process, Buyer Personas, User Personas, Requirements, Use Scenarios, Launch Plans
- Develop and strengthen our customer satisfaction
- Drives the segment targeting, customer platforming and customer action plan processes with the Zone Leader
- Ensures that Marketing, Sales and Customer Care organizations are properly trained
- Guardian of profitability through product and price management
- Market Research, competitive landscape, technology, and market assessment
- Own the products lifecycle from launch in the country to it will be obsolete
- Promote new offers / solutions to the team, customers, distributors and Ecommerce players
- Responsible for product line forecasting and revenue
- Build push/pull campaigns with distribution team
- Collaborate with the sales team to increase business identified, fulfilled, and especially owned by partners
- Develop, maintain, and utilize proactive relationships with key channel management and partner program to create new opportunities for Telemecanique Sensors
- Increase mind share with our channel partners through regular engagement, product trainings, joint sales calls, promotional events and solving their customers problems, eventually achieve sales target
- Put a strong focus on customer digital experience and activities as a differentiate for sustainable and profitable growth
- Implements joint action plans between Telemecanique Sensors and the distribution channel
Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience with working with OEM's, and the stakeholders in the sales process
- 6-10 years relevant experience in the related industries
- Experience with various sensor technologies a plus!
- Minimum 5 yrs experience in solution selling and account management in Industrial Automation to OEMs, Channel or End Users.
- Proven track record in business development plans that successfully contribute for new and sustainable businesses
Education level:
- Degree in Engineering. MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred
Language:
- Fluency in English. Any other local language knowledge is preferred

- Excellent organisational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments across multiple time zones, the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited to, the ability to influence and persuade internal and external Customers, listen effectively, and solicit input from others
- Open minded, result oriented and permanent learner is the quality that we are looking for.
- Problem solving skills are a must, as is the ability to influence people. It is expected that customer needs will be documented and need close collaboration with the development engineers, marketing and offer managers to further develop the offer and its value to customers.
IT skills :
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Application
