As an Associate on the APAC Central Pricing Desk, your responsibilities would include executing end-to-end deal pricing activities in partnership with Sales, while advising on pricing intelligence, local pricing standards and best practices in APAC in order to form competitive and profitable pricing proposals.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with partners like Product, Controls, Operations, Finance and Business Management to implement new pricing initiatives or to enhance pricing processes.
In addition, you will perform data analytics to identify deal and pricing insights across the region, and to support management in identifying new pricing strategics and opportunities for APAC Payments. Thus, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in building up the firm's capabilities to price deals better and manage deal profitability more effectively in the long-term.

Job Responsibilities:
.Work closely with Sales teams to execute deal profitability modelling for large & complex deals, and to prepare deal pricing proposals that optimize the balance between share of Client wallet with deal profitability.
.Guide Sales as a strategic adviser on local standard pricing, pricing benchmarks, local nuances and best practices in APAC markets, based on data-driven insights and accumulated deal experience.
.Support Sales in preparing deal financials for deal governance committee reviews, and coordinate and obtain required pricing approvals from senior leadership in Product and Sales.
.Instruct and oversee the implementation of accurate pricing set-up in back-end systems, by validating implemented pricing set-ups and client billing statements.
.Support Sales in the preparation of Client pricing communications.
.Ensure the effective and efficient turnaround of end-to-end deal pricing cycle activities, and facilitate the firm's delivery of a positive and seamless Client experience throughout deal pricing.
.Perform analytics on pricing data and intelligence, including deal win/loss history and reasons, to identify and develop new pricing opportunities or initiatives that can sharpen JP Morgan's competitive value proposition, deliver profitable growth and optimize client wallet penetration.
.Opportunity to work with other internal stakeholders like Product to test and rollout new pricing techniques or strategies, and to support other pricing activities outside of the deal pricing cycle, including long-tail client pricing review and strategy and the tracking of fee waivers and deal ramp.
.Be the expert on pricing processes, models and tools in APAC and suggest improvements to pricing processes and controls, forming the centre of excellence for pricing in APAC.
.Provide transparency into deals priced, and support reporting of pricing information to meet regulatory or business requirements.
.Preparation of management reports (MIS) to showcasing the Team's performance to senior stakeholders, including the number of deals supported, deal outcomes and revenue impact.
Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:
.Minimum experience of 5 years in the Banking industry
.Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance or equivalent
.Advanced analytical skills, including working with large datasets or past experience in performing financial or data analysis for the identification of new business strategy or revenue opportunities
.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex processes related to sales activities and pricing, while ensuring execution excellence, as well as compliance to both internal and regulatory requirements
.Client-focused mindset, with the ability to work well with deadlines or under short timelines, with ability to adapt to changing Client/deal circumstances and manage priorities dynamically
.Creative problem-solving and lateral-thinking skills to identify opportunities for process enhancements and more effective pricing practices
.Strong team player, with an ability to collaborate effectively with different internal teams to achieve target outcomes
Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills:
.Experience in deal financials or profitability analysis, or in the execution of new pricing initiatives or strategies for revenue growth
.Familiarity with Payments product offerings across payments and receivables to translate complex client requirements into accurate pricing requirements codes and set-up requirements
.Ability to multi-task and manage various pricing proposals and implementations simultaneously without compromising on quality and attention to details.
