Job Description
The scope includes deployment of sales & customer marketing programs, sharing of best practice, implementing market sales and planning processes, and tracking execution excellence. The ultimate goal is to ensure brand objectives are achieved at the ECP and/or retail Point of Sale.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Regional Trade Marketing Leadership: Develop and govern an APAC Myopia Activity Plan, ensuring harmonized sales operations, scorecards and priority activation in each market
- Joint Sales Planning: Partner with country sales teams and distributors to co-create sales plans that align with APAC marketing priorities and deliver sustainable growth.
- Partnership with Global Myopia commercial team (inc. forecast, process, dashboard and tools) to execute in APAC
- Channel Strategy & Execution: Define and optimize activation strategies for optical retail, ECP, and key accounts
- Commercial Excellence: Drive pricing, promotion, and trial strategies, supported by simple ROI analysis.
- Insights & Performance Management: Lead the development of commercial dashboards and scorecards to monitor execution, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Regional Commercial Activity Plan Leadership
Develop and maintain an APAC Myopia Commercial Activity Plan by partnering with the markets to integrate global, regional and local priorities, insights and actions.
Govern the regional Myopia Sales activity calendar, ensuring timely deployment of campaigns, promotions, and educational initiatives.
Align trade marketing activities with global commercial guidelines and APAC MiSight marketing priorities to maximize category growth.
Develop go to market strategies including pricing, promotions and launch plans for new products partner with markets to execute
- Commercial Business Planning (JBP)
Partner with country sales teams and distributors to co-create Myopia based sales plans that integrate marketing objectives, commercial targets, and resource allocation.
Facilitate annual and quarterly planning sessions to review performance, identify gaps, and adjust plans accordingly.
Ensure JBPs include clear KPIs, investment plans, and execution timelines.
Ensure discipline on sales team KPIs and activities
- Channel Strategy & Execution
Define channel-specific activation strategies for optical retail, ECPs and key accounts, ensuring strong brand presence and top of mind recommendation
Optimize pricing, and promotional mechanics to drive sell-in and sell-out performance.
Develop playbooks for key Myopia interventions (e.g. HCP education)
Support rollout of CooperVision proprietary tools (Navigator, Visavy etc.)
Lead sales forecast: Collaborate with supply chain and finance to ensure accurate demand planning and inventory management.
Monitor trade investment efficiency and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.
Drive simplification and effectiveness of commercial MiSight investment across markets.
- Insights & Performance Management
Extract and analyze sales data to identify market opportunities and define next steps
Develop and manage commercial dashboards and scorecards to track execution, promotional ROI, and category share.
Share best practices and insights across markets to build commercial capability.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Building
Act as the key liaison between APAC Marketing and country commercial teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
Deliver training and workshops on selling best practices, customer and salesforce planning processes, and data-driven decision-making.
Represent APAC in global forums to advocate for regional needs and share success stories.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in trade marketing, MS&P, or channel strategy within FMCG, consumer health, or medical device sectors.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence across cultures and functions.
- Deep understanding of retail dynamics, distributor management, and HCP activation in APAC markets.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight timelines.
Work Environment:
This is a standard office-based role in Singapore.
Travel:
This role requires approximately 10-20% travel to various countries within the APAC region for stakeholder engagement, workshops, and project collaboration.
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in commercial, customer marketing, trade marketing, or MS&P roles within FMCG, consumer health, or medical device sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and executing salesforce and customer marketing strategies across multiple markets.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and working in a regional capacity.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
- A master's degree is highly preferred, such as an MBA, MS in Business Analytics, or equivalent advanced qualification.
- Additional certifications in trade marketing, category management, or data analytics are a plus.
