Our client is an established MNC in the logistics sector, seeking for an experienced and visionary APAC IT Director to lead their regional IT organization and drive large-scale transformation and integration initiatives across the Asia Pacific region. This role is critical in shaping IT strategy, overseeing operations, and delivering business integration projects that enhance efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the APAC IT function, ensuring alignment with global business and technology priorities.
- Spearhead IT transformation and business integration projects, particularly organizational consolidation and system harmonization.
- Oversee IT operations and service delivery across multiple APAC markets, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable systems.
- Partner with business leaders to leverage technology for growth, efficiency, and customer value.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage IT budgets, financial forecasting, and cost optimization across the region.
- Build and develop a high-performing regional IT team, driving collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders and manage key external vendors and service providers.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Management.
- Extensive experience in managing IT teams and operations within multinational organizations.
- 10+ years in senior IT management positions, preferably with regional responsibilities.
- Proven track record in leading IT organizational transformation projects (e.g., integration, consolidation, system migration).
- Experience in leading teams across different countries in the APAC region.
