APAC Head of Logistics (Specialty Chemicals Company)

Description

We are working with a leading global chemical company to appoint their APAC Head of Logistics, based in Singapore. This is a pivotal role that will drive the transformation of the company's regional logistics function at a time of change and growth.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional HQ and working closely with global leadership, the incumbent will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and execution plan for logistics across Asia Pacific. A major focus of the role will be on leading strategic projects aimed at restructuring the logistics network to improve cost efficiency and service reliability. This includes initiatives such as hubbing to consolidate fragmented country-level operations, optimizing transport modes and routes, and harmonizing processes across markets.

Beyond structural improvements, the role will also play a key part in leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance visibility, streamline workflows, and drive performance. By embedding smarter systems and metrics, the APAC Head of Logistics will help the business achieve both immediate cost reductions and long-term operational excellence.

Requirements

We are seeking a senior supply chain leader with extensive regional experience, ideally gained within the chemical or related industries. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on project management capabilities, and must be adept at navigating complex, matrixed environments. Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams through change will be essential.
