Job Description

About the Role
Our client is a well-established multinational medical devices organisation with a strong presence across the APAC region. The APAC FP&A Lead Analyst plays a critical role in delivering timely, accurate and high-quality financial reporting, planning and forecasting across markets. Partnering closely with regional finance leadership, country finance teams and commercial stakeholders, the role offers strong exposure to senior decision-makers within a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities
The APAC FP&A Lead Analyst will support the regional FP&A team in delivering monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including the preparation of management reports, commentaries and ad-hoc analyses. The role will also be involved in coordinating regional projection and budgeting cycles, supporting the setup of templates, preparation of guidance materials, tracking of submissions and follow-ups with key stakeholders across markets. In addition, the role will partner closely with commercial and marketing teams to provide financial insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making. A strong focus will be placed on maintaining and enhancing standard reporting packs, identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement and better use of analytics tools. The role will act as a key liaison across regional, divisional and country finance teams, requiring clear, timely and effective communication, as well as the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. As part of a regional FP&A team, the role will balance multiple priorities and contribute proactively to cross-functional and regional initiatives.

Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have at least five years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis or management reporting, ideally within a regional or multinational environment. A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline is required, with an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification viewed favourably. Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA are advantageous. The role requires strong commercial and financial acumen, advanced Excel capabilities including PowerPivot and PowerQuery, and prior exposure to Power BI or data analytics tools. Experience working with large datasets and developing analytical or reporting solutions is preferred. The ideal candidate will be an independent, resourceful and adaptable team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders at various levels. Fluency in English is required, and additional language capabilities are an advantage.
