Our client is seeking a senior commercial leader to drive large-scale, complex building and infrastructure projects across APAC. This role serves as the regional authority for strategic projects, partnering closely with country sales teams to shape early-stage project strategies, influence specifications, and win high-value opportunities across commercial, high-rise, infrastructure, and mixed-use developments.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to developers, asset owners, consultants, and EPCs, influencing system architecture and technology decisions from concept and design stages.
- Lead regional engagement on large and complex building projects, aligning country teams and global stakeholders around integrated, multi-system value propositions.
- Shape and steer end-to-end pursuit strategies for high-value opportunities, integrating commercial, technical, digital, and lifecycle considerations.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across sales, solution engineering, digital platforms, factories, finance, legal, and supply chain to deliver cohesive, differentiated proposals.
- Drive consultative value engineering discussions, translating client outcomes (energy efficiency, safety, reliability, lifecycle cost) into winning commercial strategies.
- Provide senior-level deal governance and executive alignment, ensuring timely decision-making, risk visibility, and disciplined approvals on strategic pursuits.
- Leverage market intelligence, competitive insights, and win/loss learnings to strengthen long-term customer relationships and position the organization as a preferred technology partner.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in major projects, strategic sales, or commercial leadership within building systems, infrastructure, or complex engineered systems.
- Proven track record leading large, multi-stakeholder projects involving developers, consultants, EPCs, and system integrators.
- Strong capability in consultative, solution-led selling, influencing specifications and system architecture at early project stages.
- Demonstrated success managing complex deal structures, including pricing governance, risk evaluation, and margin optimization.
- Experience operating effectively in regional, matrix, and multinational environments, influencing without direct authority.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate customer outcomes (performance, efficiency, lifecycle value) into commercial wins.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline; advanced qualifications or MBA preferred.
