What you'll do:

As Business Development Director - Southeast Asia and Australia, you will be entrusted with driving commercial growth in one of the most promising regions for sustainable dispensing solutions. Your day-to-day activities will centre on developing impactful sales strategies tailored to local markets while nurturing both new prospects and established key accounts. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that meet evolving customer needs. By representing the organisation at major industry events and forging strong networks among regional decision-makers, you will lay the foundation for scalable business expansion.   • Define and implement go-to-market strategies for Southeast Asia and Australia with a focus on revenue growth, margin improvement, and robust pipeline development.
  • Identify, engage, and convert high-potential accounts including multinational groups and regional leaders to drive new business wins.
  • Expand relationships with existing customers and global key accounts already established in China, Korea, and other APAC regions while supporting the rollout of global deals.
  • Lead customer conversations around advanced dispensing systems and aerosol-replacement technologies by collaborating closely with technical teams to translate product features into tangible customer value.
  • Represent the organisation at trade shows, industry events, and customer innovation days while mapping out decision-making landscapes and building actionable networks throughout the region.
  • Shape the future sales organisation by defining team needs, proposing structure, and potentially hiring and leading regional sales professionals across Southeast Asia and Australia.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams such as supply chain, R&D, and marketing to ensure customer requirements are met through delivery excellence, product customisation, and ongoing innovation.
  • Own commercial reporting responsibilities including sales forecasts, performance tracking, pipeline accuracy, and providing regular insights to senior management.
  • Contribute strategic input to broader Asia Pacific initiatives including segmentation analysis, pricing strategies, product development recommendations, and regional investment planning.

What you bring:

To excel as Business Development Director - Southeast Asia & Australia you will bring extensive commercial experience gained within packaging or dispensing sectors supplying Home Care or Personal Care brands. Your background should reflect a history of successfully growing regional businesses through strategic account acquisition and comprehensive deal management. You possess strong interpersonal skills that enable you to nurture client relationships over extended periods while navigating complex buying environments. Technical understanding of dispensing technologies allows you to communicate product benefits effectively across diverse stakeholder groups. Regional expertise-particularly within Southeast Asia or Australia-is vital for identifying market trends and unlocking new opportunities; additional language skills further enhance your ability to build rapport locally. Your collaborative approach ensures seamless integration with internal teams while your adaptability supports frequent travel demands.

  • 8-15 years of proven experience in B2B sales or commercial leadership roles within sprays, dispensing, aerosols or related industries serving Home Care or Personal Care sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record of building regional businesses by winning new key accounts and managing full commercial cycles from lead generation through contract negotiation.
  • Expertise in nurturing strategic accounts over time while managing complex buying processes to maximise long-term value for both clients and the organisation.
  • Technical aptitude enabling you to understand advanced dispensing systems; experience in solution-based or value-based selling to R&D, procurement or marketing stakeholders is essential.
  • Deep familiarity with Southeast Asia or Australian markets; additional exposure to India or GCC markets is highly advantageous along with connections to key brand owners in regional HQs such as Singapore.
  • Fluency in English is required; .
