Role Overview
We are looking for an Ansible Automation Engineer with strong experience in Linux systems, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD integration. The ideal candidate should have exposure to banking or payments systems and experience automating infrastructure and network operations using Ansible.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions using Ansible for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for configuration management.
- Integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Automate API workflows and network configurations using Ansible modules.
- Manage infrastructure environments on Linux/Unix systems.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams for release automation and deployment pipelines.
- Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance frameworks.
- Maintain version control and project tracking using Git and Jira.
Required Skills
- 36 years of experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Scripting experience with Shell and Python.
- Experience writing and managing YAML-based Ansible playbooks.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience automating APIs and network infrastructure.
Domain Experience
- Familiarity with Banking / Payments systems, including:
- Cards
- Funds Transfer
- Clearing
- Settlement
Security & Compliance
- Understanding of secure coding practices.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
