Job Summary
We are seeking an Ansible Automation Engineer to design and scale enterprise-grade solutions using the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).In this role, you will transform manual operational tasks into reliable, automated workflows, ensuring seamless integration across the IT ecosystem and driving efficiency through standardized automation governance.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections to automate routine operational tasks.
- Connect AAP with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and monitoring platforms for automated ticket resolution.
- Build reusable automation assets to ensure consistency across infrastructure, network, and application teams.
- Manage AAP inventories, credentials, and RBAC while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance.
- Utilize Git and CI/CD pipelines to manage version control, testing, and deployment of automation assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of IT automation experience, with at least 3 years in Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/Tower).
- Expertise in developing Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections using YAML and JSON.
- Hands-on experience integrating Ansible with ServiceNow, Git, and monitoring tools like Datadog.
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration and API-driven automation.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Red Hat Ansible Automation is highly preferred.
