Job Summary
We are seeking an Investment Analyst to support our Convertible Bond Arbitrage strategy focused on Far East Asian markets. You will perform quantitative and fundamental analysis of convertible securities, support portfolio construction, and assist in trade execution.
Responsibilities
- Analyze convertible bonds by evaluating pricing, implied volatility, and embedded optionality to identify investment opportunities
- Monitor market developments across capital structures to detect relative value opportunities
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to generate trade ideas and support trade execution
- Conduct risk analysis including sensitivity, scenario, and stress testing to assess portfolio risk exposures
- Track corporate actions, new issuances, and secondary market opportunities to inform investment decisions
- Maintain and update internal research databases and reporting tools to support investment processes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Proficient analytical and quantitative skills demonstrated through relevant work or academic experience
- Familiarity with derivatives, fixed income, and equity markets to support comprehensive analysis
- Proficiency in Excel knowledge of Python or VBA is advantageous for automating analysis and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
