We are currently supporting our client, a global alternatives investment firm, in growing their team here in Singapore. This role sits within the regional distribution function - supporting client coverage, business development, and ongoing client servicing activities across the APAC region.
Reporting into a senior distribution leader, the position plays a key role in helping to grow and maintain the firm's distribution activities. The role offers broad exposure to client engagement, internal coordination, data analysis, and market research, making it well-suited for a proactive and commercially minded professional looking to propel their career in a fast-growing alternatives manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Distribution & Client Support
- Support the regional distribution team in the development and growth of the APAC client franchise
- Assist with client servicing activities across the full client lifecycle, including onboarding, reporting coordination, and ongoing engagement
- Support preparation and execution of client meetings, roadshows, and industry events
- Work closely with senior distribution professionals to ensure timely follow-up on client requests and opportunities
Internal Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across investment, operations, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of client servicing and business development activities
- Help coordinate internal resources to support client communications and materials
- Assist in aligning internal teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality client experience
Data, CRM & Operations
- Maintain and update CRM systems, client databases, and administrative records
- Support operational and administrative processes related to client coverage and distribution activities
- Assist with reporting, tracking, and documentation to support management oversight and regulatory requirements
Market Data & Research
- Generate, analyse, and synthesise market data, competitor intelligence, and industry research for internal and external use
- Support preparation of market insights and materials to assist client discussions and strategic planning
- Maintain awareness of market trends, asset class developments, and the competitive landscape
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Approximately 23 years of relevant experience within global markets, ECM/DCM, alternative asset management, placement agents, or related financial services environments
- Strong technical and product fundamentals with a solid understanding of cross-asset or alternative investment products
- High proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, Java, SQL, or similar tools is advantageous
- Fluency in English is required; additional Asian language skills are a plus
