Analyst 1

- Provide day-to-day execution support in all phases of transaction process including pitches, market and valuation analysis, and deal execution for owners and managers of private financial assets
- Conduct extensive quantitative analysis and financial modeling to analyze financial impact and return sensitivity around potential transactions such as sale of limited partnership interests, fund restructuring / recapitalizations, and strategic capital raises
- Types of financial modeling analyses include pro forma financial statement analysis to determine growth and margin characteristics, synergy analysis to assess incremental revenue opportunities and potential cost savings, and leverage buyout analysis to determine appropriate transaction structures and assess the potential impact on returns
- Perform market and industry research to support modeling assumptions and provide firm's potential and existing clients with up-to-date market intelligence
- Maintain, update, and utilize internal database(ReX) containing various market intelligence including but not limited to pricing, qualitative feedback, and restrictions from precedent transactions
- Work with large dataset available from proprietary data sources including but not limited to Preqin, Pitchbook and FactSet
- Create presentations and marketing materials required for transaction execution, usually presented to client's management team, limited partner advisory committee, and prospective investors
- Facilitate due diligence process by organizing and moderating due diligence calls and maintaining due diligence requests
- Maintain constant dialogue with market participants to collect market intelligence
- Interface between client, buyer, general partner, and respective counsels to facilitate the following:
- GP consent solicitation to share transaction information to potential investors
- NDA negotiation between potential investors and client
- Transfer and closing process
- Create charts and graphs utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word to show various concepts such as industry dynamics, market/company performance, and other trends
