AML Specialist, Commercial Bank, AVP

Our client is a leading regional financial institution experiencing strong growth in Singapore and is seeking an AML Specialist for a Line 1.5 role to support its expanding business operations.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality and timely review of client onboarding by working closely with Relationship Managers to deliver accurate KYC assessments and validate source-of-wealth information. You will also manage high-risk onboarding pipelines, conduct adverse news screening, and provide subject-matter expertise, reporting, and training on evolving regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and regulatory knowledge in CDD and onboarding processes, with experience in designing and implementing end-to-end process flows. A solid understanding of commercial banking, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail will be highly advantageous.
