Review and approve new client onboarding and periodic KYC reviews, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal AML/CFT standards
Serve as a subject matter expert to Relationship Managers, providing guidance on KYC requirements, client risk assessments, and documentation standards
Act as a control function within the business, working closely with Compliance, Risk and Credit to address and resolve KYC-related issues
Identify and escalate potential AML/CFT concerns or irregularities in transactions
Support regulatory change initiatives
Participate in internal and external audits
Deliver training and guidance to Front Office on KYC/AML policies and evolving regulatory expectations
Requirements
Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in KYC/AML within private banking
Strong hands-on experience in client onboarding and periodic review
Solid understanding of MAS and/or HKMA regulations
Strong stakeholder management skills and proficient in English and Mandarin preferred, to facilitate effective client and stakeholder interactions
