Allied Health Support Associate

Brief Summary:

• Support a multidisciplinary team by coordinating services, assisting with administrative activities, and facilitating patient follow-up. Contribute to efficient community-based care through effective communication, equipment readiness, and well-organised operational support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for patients and caregivers, helping to coordinate access to relevant services. Maintain the readiness, availability, and proper organisation of equipment and operational resources. Assist therapists and allied health professionals with coordination, administrative, and supportive activities. Support follow-up activities and monitor compliance with care arrangements where required. Facilitate continuity of care by ensuring timely communication and accurate coordination across relevant disciplines. Work with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, Medical Social Workers, and Speech Therapists in community and home-based care settings. Manage multiple tasks across different professional disciplines while maintaining organised work processes.

Requirements

• GCE N or O Level qualification a Certificate in Rehabilitation Therapy, Work-Study Diploma in Rehabilitation Care, WSQ Care Assistance qualification, or another relevant healthcare or social care certification is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and caregivers. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach and sensitivity to the needs and feelings of others. Prior experience in a healthcare or community care setting is an advantage.
