Designation: Algorithm Engineer
Job Purpose:
Develop Algorithms for our wellness devices, and be part of the team in the designing, engineering, and development of our pipeline of medical devices products.
Applicants should be experienced, creative, and passionate algorithm developers who want to make a significant contribution to healthcare sector.
Job Duties:
- Design, development, and optimization of algorithm models in medical products, deriving values based on measurements from various sources such as videos, images, sensors
- Troubleshooting, document, upgrade and develop ETL pipelines / ML Ops framework.
- Any other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior for Renew's medical devices products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 34 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and algorithm development.
- Familiarity with at least one major deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Core Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience with machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C/C++.
- Proficient in MATLAB for algorithm prototyping and data analysis.
- Solid understanding of JSON, RESTful APIs, and SQL.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, meticulous, and systematic in approach.
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across teams.
Preferred / Plus Skills:
- Experience working with OpenAI APIs or AWS SageMaker.
- Background in computer vision or sensor fusion technologies.
- Participation in algorithm or machine learning competitions (e.g., Kaggle, ACM ICPC).
- Experience in working with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience in ETL or Machine Learning Ops Framework
