Airfreight Operations Executive

A German-founded global logistics company in specialised cargo logistics, in search for Airfreight Operations Executive to join their Singapore team.

The Role
This is a hands-on airfreight operations position covering the full shipment lifecycle booking cargo space with airlines, preparing documentation, and coordinating with all parties to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Book and confirm air cargo space with airlines/consolidators for import and export shipments
• Prepare and process shipping documents.
• Coordinate with warehouses, hauliers, and airline handling agents on pickup, packing, and delivery schedules
• Track shipments end-to-end and keep customers updated on status
• Liaise with overseas offices/agents for smooth shipment handovers.
• Handle special cargo where required (temperature-controlled, express/urgent, dangerous goods documentation)
• Check vendor invoices and prepare customer billing.
• Manage customer queries and resolve operational issues.

Requirements.

• Experience in air freight forwarding/operations preferred.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, comfortable juggling multiple shipments at once
• Strong stakeholder communication, daily coordination with airlines, agents, and customers
• Proficient in MS Office freight/forwarding system experience an advantage.
• Able to start immediately.
