Head of Risk, APAC │ Aircraft Leasing │ Asia Pacific
We are partnering with a leading global aircraft leasing platform to appoint a Head of Risk (APAC). This is a senior leadership role with real scope, where you will oversee portfolio risk across credit, market dynamics and play a key role in shaping the regional team and culture.
The Opportunity
- Lead and develop a well-established regional risk team, with further growth planned
- Take ownership of portfolio risk across the APAC region, balancing risk and return
- Provide insight on credit, asset and market risk across a diverse portfolio
- Play a key role in complex decision-making, including restructuring scenarios
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders and regional leadership
Key Responsibilities
- Drive risk analysis across airline counterparties and asset portfolios
- Monitor and assess regional portfolio performance and exposure
- Contribute to and enhance the risk governance framework
- Maintain a strong view on market dynamics and emerging risks
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing regional team
- Collaborate with global counterparts across US and EMEA risk functions
Your Profile
- 10+ years experience in aviation, ideally within leasing, airline or risk environments
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead, influence and develop teams
- Strong understanding of credit, asset and portfolio risk management
- Ability to operate independently and lead with confidence in a complex environment
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
