Aircon technician is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of aircon equipment (Eg. Wall-mounted aircon sets, Cassette units, Ceiling Suspended units, Window units, Daikin VRV systems and Mitsubishi VRF systems)
Responsibilities:
- Installing new equipment and machinery
- Installing the necessary components of an air conditioning systems such as the compressor, condenser and evaporator
- Maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Inspecting and testing equipment to diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs
- Repairing or replacing defective parts, such as motors, belts, gears, and electrical components
- Troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery, such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Following safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the field of maintenance and repair
- Providing technical support to customers or clients
- Able to type report of findings into system.
- Any other tasks or duties assigned by the Company
Job Requirements
- Min. 2 years of related work experience
- NITEC or equivalent
- Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
- Able to carry heavy loads, read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- 5.5 days work week
Other Requirements:
- Only Singaporeans.
- Need to communicate with Chinese speaking customers.
