We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Air Freight Operations Executive to support and manage end-to-end air freight import and export operations. The role involves close coordination with customers, airlines, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective shipment handling. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, as training will be provided.
Operation Hours: 5.5 days work week
- 0900 - 1800 Mondays -Fridays
- 0900 - 1200 Saturdays (Alternate)
Working Location: Airport Cargo Road
Job Descriptions:
- Coordinate and manage air freight import and export shipments from booking to final delivery.
- Handle email and operational correspondence with customers, airlines, agents, and vendors.
- Prepare and process export documentation in compliance with air freight regulations and internal procedures.
- Ensure adherence to export/import regulations, compliance requirements, and airline policies.
- Provide quotations for export, import, and co-loading shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform shipment tracking and status updates, proactively informing customers of any changes or delays.
- Coordinate cargo collection and delivery with transporters and warehouse operators.
- Liaise with vendors, airlines, ground handlers, and overseas agents to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare billing, costing, and job closure documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support operational improvements and carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Preferred individuals with experience using Sysfreight or Cargowise
- Prior experience in air freight operations (import/export) is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with air freight documentation and compliance procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and freight management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
