Location: Loyang Crescent, Singapore.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Process and manage end‑to‑end air import operations, including job file creation, shipment tracking and billing.
- Liaise with Singapore Customs and other relevant government authorities to ensure smooth import clearance
- Communicate with customers on product requirements, HS codes, GST/Duty, shipment arrival status, and delivery schedules
- Ensure full compliance with Import Declarations, customs regulations, and requirements from all competent authorities
- Prepare and process Import Permit Declarations and related documentation
- Coordinate with warehouses, contractors, and transport providers for import clearance and delivery
- Adhere to company standards on Operational Excellence, Health & Safety, and compliance procedures
- Ensure customer requirements are met with accuracy and professionalism
- Perform ad‑hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the company
Job Requirements
- Minimum O Level, Professional Certificate / NITEC
- At least 3 years of relevant experience handling air import shipments within a freight forwarding environment
- Good command of English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Experience with TradeNet and CargoWise systems is a definite advantage
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Meticulous, committed, and quick to learn
- Positive, can‑do attitude with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
