The AI4X Postdoctoral Fellowship supports outstanding early-career researchers who leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accelerate breakthroughs across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, including medicine (STEM). Through the AI4X-PDF, we seek to nurture the next generation of research leaders working at the intersection of AI and STEM, driving innovation and strengthening Singapore's AI-for-Science ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to conduct the following research works
Conduct independent and collaborative research on unified visual understanding models, focusing on industrial image analysis
Develop advanced deep learning methods for power battery inspection models
Design and implement novel algorithms for AI-based CT imaging
Lead experimentation, benchmarking, and large-scale evaluation of proposed methods
Publish high-quality research outcomes in top-tier international conferences and journals
Collaborate with faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and PhD students within the AI4X program
Contribute to research proposals, technical reports, and project deliverables
Present research progress and findings in internal meetings and academic venues
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
Strong research background in computer vision and deep learning
Solid experience with multimodal learning, segmentation models, and foundation models
Strong programming skills in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch
Experience with large-scale experiments, model optimization, and performance analysis
Excellent academic writing and oral communication skills in English
Proven track record of publications in top-tier AI or vision venues
