AI Transformation & Automation Intern

Description

The AI Transformation & Automation Intern will support the acceleration of AI adoption and digital transformation across ENGIE Global Markets APAC.

• The intern will work directly with business users from Trading, Sales, Risk, Middle Office, Back Office, Market Operations and support functions to identify automation opportunities, promote the responsible use of AI tools
• Train users and assist teams in implementing practical digital solutions.
• Main missions include :
• Engage with business teams to understand daily workflows and pain points
• Deliver AI awareness, coaching and user enablement sessions
• Help users digitalise manual or repetitive activities; building simple prototypes or proofs of concept using approved tools; supporting handover or industrialisation with IT, Data and Development teams when required
• Document use cases, reusable practices and value delivered.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related discipline
• Strong interest in Generative AI, digital transformation, automation and business process improvement
• Previous exposure to AI tools, low-code / no-code platforms, data analysis or workflow automation is a plus
• Interest in energy, commodities, financial markets or trading environments would be appreciated
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps or similar platforms
• Basic knowledge of Python, APIs, databases, data visualisation or workflow automation tools
• Ability to translate business needs into simple, pragmatic and user-friendly digital solutions
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity and problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication, training and presentation skills
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Autonomous, proactive, structured and comfortable working in a multicultural environment
