AI Systems, Automation & Full-Stack Development Manager

ROLE PURPOSE

BMG Hospitality is building an AI-enabled management andoperating system for its hospitality businesses. We are looking for a hands-ontechnology professional who can build BMG's internal systems, integrate ourexisting cloud platforms, train managers to use AI effectively, troubleshoottechnical issues, and continuously automate repetitive work.

The role is not limited to programming. The successfulcandidate will act as BMG's internal technology project manager, systemsbuilder, trainer and first-line technical problem solver.

The core objective is:

Build the systems. Train the managers. Automate the work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. BUILD BMG'S INTERNAL HRMS

. Develop and maintain BMG's internal HR managementsystem.

. Employee master records, onboarding, attendance, leave,documentation and training records.

. Performance appraisal, KPI tracking, probation,confirmation, promotion and disciplinary records.

. Build appropriate integrations with payroll,recruitment and management reporting systems.

2. MANAGER APPRAISAL & KPI SYSTEM

. Build a management appraisal platform for departmentheads and managers.

. Create weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPIdashboards.

. Integrate operational data where appropriate.

. Develop AI-assisted management summaries and reporting.

3. AI SCHEDULING & WORKFORCE AUTOMATION

. Build or integrate AI-assisted duty roster andscheduling tools.

. Link operational demand, hotel occupancy, employeeavailability and manpower requirements.

. Identify overtime, staffing gaps and schedulinginefficiencies.

. Automate notifications and management approvals.

4. AI TRAINING FOR ALL BMG MANAGERS

. Train managers to use ChatGPT, Claude and otherapproved AI/cloud tools in their daily work.

. Help each manager create department-specific workflows,prompts and automations.

. Improve the quality and speed of emails, research,reports, meeting preparation, analysis and follow-up.

. Conduct regular AI productivity training and refreshersessions.

. Help managers become self-sufficient rather thandependent on the programmer.

5. AUTOMATION & SYSTEM INTEGRATION

. Build workflows using APIs, webhooks and automationplatforms such as n8n or Make.

. Integrate systems such as Cloudbeds, Getz, Pipedrive,Power BI, Xero, Infobip and HR/payroll applications.

. Create reliable data flows between operational systemsand management dashboards.

6. MANAGEMENT REPORTING & MEETINGS

. Automate weekly management reports.

. Help managers prepare meeting updates using AI and liveoperational data.

. Support dashboards for management, revenue, HR, financeand operations.

. Work with Power BI and other reporting tools.

7. SYSTEM SUPPORT & BUG RESOLUTION

. Troubleshoot software, API, integration and databaseissues.

. Maintain a bug and incident register.

. Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanentfixes.

. Coordinate with third-party software vendors whenrequired.

. Ensure critical systems are properly monitored, backedup and recoverable.

8. DOCUMENTATION & TRAINING

Every system developed must include:

. System documentation

. User SOP

. Manager training guide

. Administrator guide

. Troubleshooting guide

. Change log

. Video or screen-recorded training where appropriate

A project is not considered complete until it isdocumented and managers have been trained to use it.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Candidates should have strong capability in several ofthe following:

. Full-stack web development

. React / Next.js / JavaScript / TypeScript . Node.js,Python, PHP/Laravel or equivalent backend development . PostgreSQL / MySQL /SQL . REST APIs and webhooks . n8n / Make or similar automation platforms .Power BI . Git / GitHub . OpenAI / ChatGPT APIs and other LLM integrations .Cloud hosting, DNS, SSL, backups and monitoring

AI-ASSISTED DEVELOPMENT

BMG encourages modern AI-assisted development. Candidatesshould be comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor,GitHub Copilot or equivalent tools to increase development speed and quality.

The candidate must still be able to understand, test,secure, troubleshoot and maintain the underlying code.

. Patient and capable of teaching non-technical users.

. Strong documentation habits.

. Able to work independently and manage multipletechnology projects.

. Strong interest in AI, automation and productivity.

. Able to troubleshoot production systems.

. Hospitality, hotel, restaurant or multi-site operationsexperience is an advantage.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

. 3-7+ years of software-development orsystems-integration experience.

. Experience building internal business applications.

. API and database integration experience.

. AI/LLM and automation experience.

. Experience training users or implementing systemsacross departments.

. Practical ability and portfolio will be valued stronglyalongside formal qualifications.

. Delivery of working systems and agreed projectmilestones.

. System reliability and speed of bug resolution.

. Reduction of repetitive manual work.

. Manager adoption of AI and automation.

. Quality of documentation and security controls.

. Improvement in department productivity and managementreporting.

FIRST-YEAR PRIORITIES

. Understand and map BMG's processes, systems andworkflows.

. Establish development, documentation and securitystandards.

. Build or complete the BMG HRMS.

. Build the Manager Appraisal and KPI platform.

. Develop AI scheduling and workforce automation.

. Automate weekly management reporting.

. Train BMG managers on AI-assisted working.

. Connect the systems into management dashboards and aunified data environment.

IMPORTANT GOVERNANCE REQUIREMENT

All source code, system accounts, databases, domains,hosting, API keys, documentation, repositories and intellectual propertydeveloped for BMG must remain company-owned. All production code must be storedin company-controlled repositories and all systems must be properly documented.
