I'm currently helping a fast-growing AI startup to look for a highly motivated AI Researcher with a strong academic background in Physics or Mathematics. This role focuses on advancing cutting-edge AI algorithms, with a strong emphasis on theoretical foundations, modeling, and complex system analysis. Candidates with deep knowledge of quantum mechanics are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct original research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related theoretical domains.
Design, develop, and evaluate novel models and algorithms grounded in mathematical and physical principles.
Apply advanced concepts from physics, mathematics, and quantum mechanics to solve complex AI problems.
Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into real-world applications.
Stay current with the latest developments in AI, theoretical physics, and applied mathematics.
Qualifications:
PhD in Physics, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
Strong foundation in quantum mechanics and advanced mathematical modeling.
Proven research experience with publications in reputable journals or conferences.
Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with quantum computing, quantum information theory, or quantum machine learning.
Background in statistical mechanics, optimization, or computational physics.
Experience working in interdisciplinary research environments.
