We are seeking an AI Investment Associate to join our venture investment arm atCrypto.com, a leading cryptocurrency exchange. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in artificial intelligence companies and technologies, while working within our dynamic crypto-native environment.
Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate AI investment opportunities across various sectors
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments
- Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee
- Monitor portfolio companies and support their growth initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and AI industry experts
Required experience:
- Venture capital or private equity experience focusing on AI investments
- Demonstrated track record of successful deal execution in AI/ML sector
- Experience in technical due diligence of AI companies
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and development
- Ability to evaluate AI technical architectures and implementation strategies
- Familiarity with current AI market trends and competitive landscape
Language & Location:
- Native or professional fluency in English
- Business-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
- Based in Hong Kong or willing to relocate
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related field preferred
