AI Engineer

Job Duties :

Core AI/ML engineering

. Support the production of scalable and optimised AI or machine learning (ML) models across WS Group's AI product portfolio, including SpiderX, the company's AI marketing operating system.

. Focus on building algorithms for the extraction, transformation and loading of large volumes of real-time, unstructured data (marketing assets, brand collateral, campaign performance data, client media libraries) to deploy AI or ML solutions from theoretical data science models into production services.

. Run experiments to test the performance of deployed models, and identify and resolve bugs that arise in the process, including evaluation of generation quality, latency and cost across multi-modal generation pipelines.

. Work in a team setting and apply knowledge in statistics, scripting and programming languages required by the firm (Python, TypeScript, SQL), collaborating with the distributed engineering team across markets.

. Work with the relevant software platforms in which the models are deployed, including PostgreSQL with pgvector for embedding storage and retrieval, containerised backend services, and cloud deployment infrastructure.

Product and technical delivery

. Translate business and client requirements into technical specifications, data schemas and system architecture for AI product features, and define the roadmap and scope for AI-driven modules from prototype to production release.

. Own the end-to-end implementation of AI features, from model selection and prompt/pipeline design through backend service integration, testing and release.

Client-facing technical delivery (Singapore market)

. Act as the primary technical point of contact for WS Group's Singapore-based clients and partners, serving as a forward-deployed engineer who works directly with client teams to understand their workflows, scope requirements and configure or customise AI solutions to their operating context.

. Manage the delivery of Singapore client engagements end to end, including technical solutioning, deployment, onboarding, troubleshooting and post-deployment support, and feed client-side learnings back into the core product roadmap.

. Support business development activities in Singapore, including technical input into tenders, proposals and government or enterprise submissions (e.g. A.STAR), and represent the company's technical capabilities to local stakeholders.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or Science (Computer Studies)

. Proficiency in Python, TypeScript and SQL

. Experience with production ML/AI systems, vector databases and large language model application development

. Ability to work independently and manage client relationships in a distributed team environment
