About the Role

We are seeking an AI Consultant with a focus on AI transformation and LLM-based solutions. This role plays a pivotal part in designing, validating, and delivering AI solutions for enterprise clients, bridging business objectives with deep technical understanding.

Working closely with Lead Consultants, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Solution Architects, the AI Consultant translates concepts and use cases into deployable, scalable AI solutions across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Solution Design & Technical Advisory

  • Lead or support AI/ML solution assessments, including LLM evaluations, architecture reviews, and data readiness checks.
  • Translate business use cases into technical requirements, solution blueprints, and implementation plans.
  • Design and recommend AI architectures such as vector databases, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning approaches, and cloud-based AI services.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, technical scoping, and ROI modelling in support of AI initiatives.
  • Provide input on data governance, prompt engineering standards, and responsible AI practices.

2. Project Delivery & Hands-On Technical Engagement

  • Guide and contribute to the delivery of AI prototypes, POCs, and MVPs alongside engineering teams.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flows, and operational playbooks.
  • Perform and support model evaluation activities covering accuracy, latency, hallucination testing, and benchmarking.
  • Support MLOps workflows, including CI/CD integration, deployment processes, and model monitoring best practices.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet agreed standards for quality, scalability, and security.

3. Client Engagement & Technical Leadership

  • Act as a technical lead during discovery and delivery phases for assigned engagements.
  • Facilitate client workshops, ideation sessions, and deep-dive technical discussions.
  • Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support advisory discussions on AI adoption, risks, and operational transformation.

4. Business Development & Thought Leadership

  • Partner with Sales and BD teams to develop technical inputs for proposals and solution architectures.
  • Support or lead demos, briefings, and technical sessions with prospective clients.
  • Contribute to white papers, internal accelerators, and best-practice frameworks.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Experience

  • 57 years of experience in AI consulting, data consulting, or cloud solution delivery roles.
  • Exposure across the AI lifecycle, from strategy and use-case definition through POC/MVP and scaled deployment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures and delivery plans.

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong understanding of LLMs, NLP concepts, RAG systems, MLOps pipelines, and vector databases.
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud AI platform (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or GCP Vertex AI).
  • Knowledge of Python-based ML workflows, APIs, and evaluation frameworks (hands-on coding is a plus but not mandatory).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical complexity.
  • Strong stakeholder management and structured documentation capabilities.
  • Comfortable operating in client-facing, project-driven environments.
