About the job
We are working with a leading asset-intensive diversified conglomerate with operations spanning multiple industries. As part of its enterprise-wide digital transformation, the organization is investing heavily in AI to enhance operational efficiency, optimize assets, and unlock new business value. Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced AI Architect to define and scale its enterprise AI capabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the AI architecture strategy for a complex organization, partnering with business and technology leaders to embed AI across operational and corporate functions.
Responsibilities
You will define the enterprise AI architecture and technology roadmap, ensuring AI solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the organization's digital strategy. You will design reference architectures for Generative AI, Agentic AI, machine learning, AI copilots, and intelligent automation, while establishing best practices for AI governance, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI.
Working closely with business stakeholders, data teams, enterprise architects, and engineering teams, you will translate business priorities into production-ready AI solutions across business functions. You will guide the selection of AI platforms and technologies, establish reusable AI services and frameworks, and ensure seamless integration with enterprise applications, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
You will also evaluate emerging AI technologies, define technical standards, and provide architectural leadership throughout the AI solution lifecycle, from proof of concept through to enterprise-scale deployment.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced AI architect or senior technology leader with 10+ years of experience across enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data, and AI. Experience designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions, including Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and MLOps/LLMOps frameworks is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), enterprise integration, API architecture, and modern data platforms is essential. Experience implementing AI governance, security, and risk controls within large, complex organizations is highly desirable.
Candidates from consulting firms, system integrators, cloud providers, or large enterprise technology environments with experience delivering enterprise-scale AI transformation will be viewed favourably. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both business and technology leaders are essential.
