Job Summary:
The Agile Project Manager will be responsible for managing and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role will leverage Agile methodologies to improve project efficiency, promote collaboration, and ensure the successful execution of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Agile project teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to delivery.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Ensure the team follows Agile best practices and processes, providing coaching and guidance when needed.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Manage and prioritize project backlogs, ensuring that the highest-value tasks are delivered first.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and team development.
- Track and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating where necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation of project requirements, plans, and deliverables.
- Communicate with stakeholders and leadership to provide regular project updates and align expectations.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years working in an Agile environment.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, practices, and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with multiple stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Experience working in the technology industry or similar sectors is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple priorities.
