About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead / Senior Scrum Master with 810 years of experience in Agile program and team delivery management. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Scrum, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and cross-team collaboration, with the ability to leverage AI-augmented practices to improve team performance, agility, and delivery outcomes. This role will play a key part in driving APEXs strategic goals by ensuring backlog ownership, delivery enablement, and continuous improvement across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
Backlog Ownership & Delivery Enablement
- Act as a certified Scrum Master with hands-on experience coordinating virtual teams across multiple time zones.
- Ensure adherence to Scrum principles, guiding and coaching team members to effectively fulfill their roles.
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor backlog progress and delivery flow, enabling on-time delivery of sprint and program commitments.
Scaled Agile Framework Execution
- Support the implementation and operation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Participate in scaled ceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos.
- Coordinate dependencies and priorities across multiple Agile teams to ensure program-level alignment.
AI-Augmented Leadership
- Leverage AI Agile Agents and digital tools to monitor team health, track backlog flow, and identify delivery risks.
- Use AI insights to drive agility, predict potential challenges, and enable scalable operational excellence.
Cross-Team Communication & Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between product managers, engineering leads, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment of priorities, deliverables, and timelines across diverse teams.
- Foster transparent communication and collaboration to break down silos and increase delivery effectiveness.
Continuous Improvement & Adaptive Leadership
- Lead retrospectives and implement actionable improvements for teams and programs.
- Promote Agile maturity by coaching teams and encouraging adoption of best practices.
- Foster a culture of learning, adaptability, and innovation aligned with APEXs strategic objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 810 years of professional experience in Agile delivery, with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Lead.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) with demonstrated hands-on project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and proven experience in program-level ceremonies.
- Experience coordinating large, distributed Agile teams across different time zones.
- Exposure to AI-powered Agile tools for backlog management, team health monitoring, and delivery risk tracking.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptive leadership capabilities.
