About Role
We're hiring a Scrum Master / Agile Coach to support public sector teams in adopting and scaling agile practices. You'll partner with product owners, delivery teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, improve delivery outcomes, and embed effective agile ways of working across the software lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Coach project teams and agencies on agile adoption and continuous improvement
- Champion agile principles and align practices across cross-functional teams
- Work closely with Product Owners and technical teams to refine product strategy and delivery approaches
- Facilitate key ceremonies and workshops (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, ideation, journey mapping, problem-solving sessions)
- Improve stakeholder alignment, communication, and decision-making
- Identify and remove delivery blockers to enhance team effectiveness
- Assess vendor agile maturity and collaborate with partners to ensure quality delivery
- Guide teams in validation, feedback loops, and iterative product development
Requirements
- 14 years experience in Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or team facilitation roles within software delivery
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, XP, or related frameworks
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, or similar collaboration platforms
- Solid understanding of SDLC and basic DevOps practices
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
Good to Have(s)
- Scrum Product Owner, Agile Coaching, or professional coaching certifications
- Experience supporting agile transformation or organisational change initiatives
- Background in service design, design thinking, or structured workshop facilitation
- Exposure to government procurement processes or agile contracting models
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline
