Provide Agile consultancy services to government agencies and assist them in agile transformation.
Evangelize the adoption of agile principles and practices across government agencies, as needed in coordination with GovTech's Agile Coaching unit.
Partner with technical or product teams, Product Owners, government agencies, leadership and key stakeholders to grow the understanding of agile principles, methodologies and trade-offs in decision-making.
Coach and develop teams skills in creating sound product and technical development strategies and design of experiment approaches for validation, throughout the product lifecycle.
Facilitate product development and team collaboration workshops such as customer journey mapping, idea generation, complex problem-solving, root cause analysis, etc.
Facilitate and mediate, as necessary, conflict resolution within teams and with key stakeholders, to uncover the underlying causes, foster empathy and respect for each other, and encourage collaborate to achieve desired outcomes.
Evaluate service providers technical capability and agile maturity. Work closely with service providers to ensure delivery of agile software services to government agencies.
Requirements:
Certified Scrum Master with experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent agile team facilitator role for software product development
Scrum Master or Product Owner certification, Agile Coaching or professional coaching certification is an added advantage.
Working experience with major issue management tools such as the
Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence), Slack or Kanbanise.
Working knowledge of Scrum, XP or Kanban.
Working knowledge of the following will be an advantage:
Agile Contract and government procurement processes
Service design, design thinking and workshop facilitation
Enterprise change management, agile transformation and senior leader stakeholder management
Understanding key technical aspects of software development and DevOps
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines is preferred, though not necessary.
