Work Arrangement:
- Location: Parkway Centre / Bukit Timah Plaza / Thomson Plaza
- Work Days: Monday-Friday
- Work hours during the school term: 9.30am-7pm
- Work hours during MOE-scheduled school holidays: shifts between 7am-7pm
Job Description
A. Student Care
- Support the daily operations of the centre, including both administrative and teaching duties
- Ensure a seamless customer care experience for both prospective and existing clientele (from handling enquiries and collecting payments, to maintaining good relationships with existing clientele)
- Ensure the overall safety and effectiveness of the learning environment
- Prepare progress reports for students on a termly basis
B. Holistic Enrichment
- Prepare materials and deliver enrichment lessons for students on designated days
- Plan and facilitate special events and/or excursions during MOE-scheduled school holidays
C. Academic Teaching
- Deliver quality lessons for assigned classes (in-house curriculum provided)
- Effectively utilise teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
- Mark and grade students assignments with value-added feedback
- Perform required classroom administration responsibilities
- Foster good relationships with students parents through regular written and/or verbal feedback
- Participate in level meetings/subject-sharing sessions
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to teach one of the subjects from P1 to P6 (English / Mathematics / Science)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Up-to-date with latest MOE syllabus
- At least 2-3 years of teaching experience
- Have experience teaching in group settings (of between 4 to 12 students)
- Passion for teaching and nurturing students
